Dig deeper!!

You know that saying! “When it gets tough, the tough get going!” I really had to put that into practice recently. With Covid-19 numbers spiking in the past few weeks, the pharmacy has gotten particularly difficult as an occupation. Several pharmacists have even chosen to leave for one or more reasons, leaving the rest of us to pick up the slack. But when you are given something difficult to deal with you have a choice, you can complain and lose yourself in self-pity and doubt – OR – you can think positive and make the choice to ‘dig deeper’ and find the strength to look toward the future and see the ‘lemonade’ in lemons that you were given!! Although things are a little difficult right now, I appreciate the efforts of the technicians that are working hard to make my shifts as carefree as possible. I also appreciate the schedulers who are doing their best to accommodate the district demands with a limited supply of staff, while trying to satisfy the demands of the public. We will get through this!! With a little patience and care from ALL…
