Back to the Basics

For those of us who suffer with a mental illness, we all know the difficulties associated with BIG life changes! So, my recent life change (changing my work location, Yay!) was definitely NOT a dull one!! But I relied on old faithful – routine, routine, routine. Thankfully, it worked!! If you’re interested in knowing a few details, I’ll oblige. I developed the sniffles, so I had to fight a cold while I was adjusting to my new location, my husband and I were a little perturbed with each other over “simple things”, all while juggling problems with my livestream which had to be put on hold for reasons that were out of my control. But the Lord has a way of showing the importance of patience and truly ‘casting your cares’ on Him. I prayed to the Lord to take care of all of it while I wrote in my journal one night. When you realize that you really have to surrender to Him, trust in the Lord for ALL things, that’s when you will see a change. Today, I am good. Thank you Lord, once again…..
