Yesterday, during a dinner celebration for my mom, I was reminded by my brother that even my speech has become slower in my older years. I think it can be attributed to an awareness that God is there to handle my every move and circumstance. So that I don’t have to worry about trying to hurry up what I’m doing or saying anymore. I can take my time with even the simplest things. When I’m driving, walking, talking and performing tasks at work to a certain point, I’m not necessarily worried about if the task will be completed but more so how the task is being performed. I am much more intentional. And also, when I’m doing a service, whether it’s at home, church or work; it helps me to keep in mind that God is watching!! Not man, but God. I’m blessed beyond measure by being a blessing to others.
